Where-on-Earth Bird Walk
These walks will be held twice a month on Tuesdays from November to June.
So what exactly is a Where-on-Earth Bird Walk?
It is a bird walk that we take individually on the same day (at any time of day), and make a list of birds that you each see. You send your list to Kim Gaffett at kim.gaffett@tnc.org along with information about the time of day and where you observed birds. Kim will compile everyone’s list into one “community” list, and share the sightings with all the participants – thus a bird walk that we do together, but at a social distance.
So, please join us – bird enthusiasts near & far and young & old – in taking your own Where-on-Earth Bird Walk at any time that fits your schedule.
Remember this is not limited to those who are presently on Block Island. Anyone, anywhere can join the fun.
Any Questions, contact Kim at kim.gaffett@tnc.org
