Osprey Update: July 10

At 7 weeks old these nestlings (speckled back) are nearly full sized compared to the female (solid back). She is hopping out of the way as the youngsters are spending a lot of time flapping wings.

Not only are the young flapping wings, they are hop-flapping around the nest - surely they will be flying within days.
