At 6 weeks old these nestlings are nearly the size of the parents.

This incredible photo was taken by BI Utility District lineman when placing the bird back on the platform nest. It's sibling is lying down "hiding" at the bottom of the photo. Note the new band on the osprey's fully grown leg.
