Osprey Update: June 26

At 5 weeks old these 2 nestlings are amazingly big. True feathers are growing in everywhere and their coloring is getting to be a mix of warm browns. Soon we should start seeing wing stretching and practice flapping.

While the lower nestling rests, the upper one backs up to the edge of the nest, lowers its head and shoots out of the nest a stream of poop - everybody poops.
